About the Breeder

Jess Magyar has always had a love for animals since she was a little girl. Starting her career working in local kennels, she moved on to working in veterinary medicine in her teens. She has worked over 20 years in emergency and ICU as a certified vet tech in a busy referral hospital, ​as well as in Veterinary Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. She is now a practice manager at a busy small animal and exotic hospital in Bethel, CT.

 

It was working at a referral hospital that Jess met a Sphynx and fell in love with this unique breed. She brought her first one home in 2019, Walter. He quickly stole her heart and she welcomed Birdie and Olive to the family in subsequent years.

 

In addition to her “nakies,” Jess has four additional cats she has rescued over the years. She also has a daughter, Paige, who equally loves cats and shares in the excitement of breeding Sphynx. In her spare time, Jess can be found traveling, enjoying the beach, and taking day trips with her daughter.
